nothing going on in LA.. is it that bad??!!

We'll be in LA on 29th Nov until 1st Dec, the first leg of a 2 week road trip from West to East coast. Has anyone got any recommendations for any decent club nights? We end up in Miami on 10-12th Dec so same question goes for there also.

I just 'bought' some tickets for the Cocoon closing party in Ibiza online. Has anyone else done this? I didn't provide any bank details just an address and got a confirmation email. I assume I take this to the club and pay there although there's no booking reference either??

I'm after a new MP3 player, got a 4gb nano at the minute but its on its last legs. So I'm after a new one, pref of nano size or similar and around 8gb - fancy a change from the ipod so can any recommend anything?

A line-in would be good also to record directly onto it..
