I would take the rat or rat2 in consideration.
the rats have been used heavily in the shoegaze scene and can create really nice distartion.
i personally think the turborat is a little bit too extrem, but i havent tried it very often.

i used to do producing lying and sitting on too little chairs as well. but everybody watch out: when you are getting older (i am 35), you could get really into trouble with your back. so now i have a better chair and doing some sport before producing. helps too free your mind after work as well :-) ...
