I think it sounds like 2 (or more) detuned sawtooth waves (maybe an octave apart) with a bit of attack on cutoff. Maybe some LFO on tuning or phase, not really sure. Play around with it. Might not be arpeggio, I think it's just the delay making it sound like that. Hopefully I'm not totally off with ...

Yeah I hate when that happens. I've been trying to keep an eye out for tracks named "drumsfinalmasterversion57.mp3" and rename them while I can. This happens a lot when downloading free tracks from soundcloud. I think people don't know that the file has to be properly named in order for it...

Thanks Michael, good to hear you like it. This seems to be a bit of a continuous problem for my tracks, I always end up having the snare and/or hihats too loud. Definitely has to do with using headphones for mixing. Will keep in mind for my next track for sure.

The mixing might be totally messed up, because I have to use headphones for doing it. Trying to save up for some sort of speakers, but it's hard as a student.
