the Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner and Philip Bader sets are sweet !

i tried them for a 1hour set i played and the guy before me let me test them.

They are pretty comfortable, isolate very good and have a nice and punchy sound.

still i am a little Sennheiser fanboy and i prefer my hd-25 II, know idea why exactly but i do ^^

been to Panorama Bar twice (sundays) but never made it to a Berghain clubnight since we allways had different plans... But then i had my first Berghain expierience on the 23 October - Sandwell District night... had no troubles getting in (2 guys, 1 girl) - and fck ME, this Function One system blows ...

and 500 "quid" (i assume your from britain) isnt that much for a vintage analogue (in good & working condition) - these things are real investments if you treat them well. but yea, i know the feeling - missed a deal on a sh-101 for 350€ in nearly mint condition from a co-worker of mine...
