Hey Mr :-) The VCM does really look like a good piece of gear...(no hands on experience) its pre-labeled to perfectly work with Live... other daws should work aswell, but i think its designed to fit more or less just for Live. Vestax quality is allways good but in that pricerange i would go for some...
