I love my adam a7-s, before that i use yamahas, but i think adams are better imo... Now the new line is out and the prices are almost the same. I must check out my local music store a7x are delicious

I cut anything but bass and kick up to 200/300 hz and i use sidechain simple
as that...
Edit: Any sound has bass, Snare, hi-hat... Make room for your bass if you want it big, and for me less bass is more stupid but that what works for me
