depends also on what you do with the software, if you just use it to play clips with a couple of effects you will never have crashes... This is true. I had some serious side chain gating going on and a load of sends with major effects chains etc. Maybe I should think about simplifying things a bit...

I'm also experimenting with using reverb on a send and panning the send to one side.
