I find this argument somewhat amusing

I find this argument and subtle disrespect over live acts vs. the Dj in the realm of techno somewhat amusing. In the 1930's when the first double turntable was invented and dance halls began hiring DJ's to play there was backlash from an association of bands (somewhat akin to the RIAA today) that la...

A lesson on oneupmanship

Ya know, this is exactly what bugs about guys that are into this stuff. I'm just trying to give a good tip for people who may not know a lot about these things. We are not all born sound engineers. If you read my post you will have noticed that I specifically made mention of pink noise and suggested that p...

What have I done? I have stumbled into the netherworld...

I have been doing some soul searching and some online dictionary searching as well about my use of this improper terminology. I cannot seem to find a good way to describe a difference in the intensity of the multiple outputs of a single signal that are synchronous. I think we are getting into the fo...

Note of Amendment

The terms synchronous and asynchronous may not be appropriate to accurately describe the relationship between the outputs. Synchronism is usually used when talking about matters of time and events. I guess when I was writing it I was visualizing the matching of two signals and thoughts of getting th...
