casio cz-101... i got mine for free from an older guy at school that just wanted to get rid of it and wasnt sure if i'd even find it useful or not. i didnt know anything about it, but it looked surprisingly programmable, so i took it. i love that little thing

To me, this tip seems more like voodoo than fact. All you get from this is an extra pass through D/A - A/D plus some cables and joints. What I mean is when you tune your synth in A432 is that you don´t change the key, you actually will be in between 2 keys so when yo play a C note it will be in between B and C, so out of tune if you try to mix it with other instruments tuned in A440. usually a drum rack with different simplers and samplers on each channel and some effect chains and sends within the drum rack. keeps everything in "one channel" but still able to apply EQ and all the normal mixdown things on each individual sound... then you can freeze the whole drum trac...
