Re: New here from Belgium
That's a cool vid, I had no idea what you meant in terms of music when I first saw your post. Some of that track reminds me of stuff like 'Blue Pearl - Naked In The Rain' - Used to love that tune. Other aspects remind me of some earlier illegal rave venues from back in the day. I gotta say, I like y...

Re: polyrhythms
Shame we can't get more going on this thread, wouldn't have minded chipping in with some thoughts of my own. I'm a little confused as to some of it though as to me, 99% of what was talked about, is what I'd always thought were polymeters not polyrhythms, ie: 2 or more different time signatures runni...

Re: How to create this beautiful warm nice Lawrence synth pa
Hey mate, sorry for late reply ( Xmas and all ) Yeah that's a nice track, really trippy. I'm generally more into deep house myself but I obviously listen to other stuff too. It is quiet here lately but there is still a great deal of useful stuff stored on the pages of this forum and its worth going ...

Re: Pads
Y'know somebody else started a discussion which is pad based just below yours too. It's a big area and it would be cool to make a distinction between the sound itself & the chords played that almost always lie within the actual pad. Unless you're adding an atmospheric layer to a track, or delibe...

Re: How to create this beautiful warm nice Lawrence synth pa
Hi mate. Had a listen but I'm on a small portable laptop as I'm away from home and using the internal speaker for audio - which is awful but here's some of my input in terms of pads: Firstly, you can turn almost any sound into a pad by simply adjusting a few parameters, softening the attack time via...

Re: PANNING PROBLEM IN ABLETON
I don't have any solutions to add but I'm a big believer of using mono samples and sound sources for almost everything. Stereo effects and layering/duplicating specific sounds, panning them, then offsetting them by numerous methods produces a stereo effect if I want it but I find it works a lot bett...
