I use cubase and ableton with my hardware, and I don't notice a huge difference when mixing down with both. And you’re always going to loose the warmth when going from analogue to digital regardless of what DAW you use. Maybe you have a different eq setting on your mp3/wav player?

I finally saved up and got my nord lead 2x rack from eBay. It was sent from a different country, so I needed to purchase a transformer to convert the voltage. Got everything plugged in, but it won’t turn on.. how can I test the unit to see if the unit is dead or not? I got the correct transformer, b...
