Can we forget about normalization. Yes, it's not the way to master tracks! Now lets get back to the question of should you send a label tracks master or unmaster? I've learnt it's best to ask before sending. unmastered. if it's a really great track and mixed properly you shouldn't have to master it...

i think a huge part of it is doing your thing and believing in yourself. don't focus on "being a star" but rather create something that really makes you *feel* something.
