Not sure how it works, as in if there's a central db, but data is shared between the different police forces.

What I really dislike about Win7 is how they makes things harder by trying to make them easier. The control panel has so many sub-categories in such an illogical fashion, it makes tracking things down a pain in the azz. In agreement with this, but I'm not sure if it's just because I was so used to ...

I work in IT for a University and we run Windows 7 on around 800 student PCs, who's use ranges from basic internet browsing to computer games programming/art creation (this includes audio work too). It's as though whenever audio is playing, the graphics suffer. If I open task manager while Live is playing and just generally drag the window around, it jerks about a bit and clearly has tails of itself following it as I drag it. Once I stop audio or quit live and do the same thing, it's perfectly...
