Shaker can be done quite easily with white noise. A little attack, short decay and a little release. Benefits from volume envelope to make some hits louder

I think that will suit your needs well. And RAM memories are really cheap if you need to upgrade.

It's all about personal preference. I prefer pads cause i think it feels a little bit weird to play percussion on a keyboard, but that's just me.

Sounds good in my computer speakers, sounds good in my cheap headphones. Nice loop btw, very smooth
