a guy in a shop told me the same. he said that all "cheap" recorders have the same bad sound quality. but there must be differences no? just read a review about yamahas pocketrak and heard some samples. pretty good sound I think http://amazona.de/index.php?page=26&file=2&article_id...

I'm in search of a good field recorder . it should be small and not too expensive..

the dogdaze (=2562!) album. I'd describe it as a mixture of downbeat, jazz and dubstep.. the tracks are built-on like techno tracks. amazing sound!
