i use mine a lot . out in the clubs too. so it has gotten banged around pretty good. but never had any knob fail. but i can totally see it. this sh!t is flimsy as fck.

IMHO i think you should use compression. compress the hell out of the vocal track and it will really stand close up and in ur face.
