Hmm, Ialways find it difficult to tell a "benchmark" of how an arrangement should be.
I think that when you make a DJ tool, that the arrangement can be very different then when you make a pop song or something.

I've always used (and still do when I do 2 hour or longer livesets) an MPC2000XL loaded with samples, and controlling other hardware.

Hi there, You can indeed use both in combination with Ableton (midi). Regarding the sound quality of the Electribe gear, I think it also depends how you use it. I don't own any Electribe gear myself, but I know people who do. They however say that the Electribes are fine for small background sounds,...
