was just wondering if any1 cud give me some advice on what ratio/attack/release/make up gain/threshold settings to use when compressing all the percussion through one bus, also what software compressors would ya recommend, cheers

ive watched a few videos and some people bounce there audio to tape then bounce it back and apperantly that can give a nice warmer round sound to ya mixes, plus tape decks are super cheap, im thinking of doing this myself but i need some second opinions as im not clued up on this at all really!

hi, was just wondering is it possible that leaving your monitors on for too long will damage them, even if no audio is playing. IE just the power kept on?

Also whats the correct way to go about turning them off safely so they dont pop etc.

hi, after checking out some drum machines i got drumatic as its free but I cant seem to get it to work, how do i get audio out of it? I put it onto a midi channel then i don't know where to go next, sorry if this sounds really ridiculous but im getting nowhere sorry
