Rekorder

Post by DiL8 »

A duo with Stephan Bodzin & Oliver Huntemann. Eventhough they have only 5 releases, I highly recommend...

I was familiar with Bodzin from his collaboration with Romboy (excellent tracks: Ferdinand and Phobos!), so this post piqued my curiosity. So after reading this here yesterday, I went to look for Rekorder. I found a lot of tracks, and it makes me very, very happy.

7 is excellent. As is 6.1... I haven't heard them all yet, but these two stand out already.

Thanks a lot for this tip :)

Rekorder 6.3 is quite good...

Oh, that's insane, I have a lot of tracks, but no 6.3! I thought I got them all... I'll go look for 6.3 then, I'm curious now :)

I rather like 5.1 too, btw :)

they have a couple of good tracks (also the earlier ones are nice)
but usually when they release an album it's only the 1st track that is really good whilst the others being average.

And its always more of the same...but as long as they make feel like dancing i dont mind

very well produced to and easy to implement in almost every sort of minimal set

I like how on Discogs it says...
Rekorder is a secret alias by a well known deejay for the "Rekorder" serie, which is going to have 10 12" records. In the end of the serie, the producer would be revealed.
Obviously there was a leak somewhere! I actually just submitted an update to remove this in their profile.

They have been very well received I must say. My personal favorite is 03!

I wonder if they will continue to release after number 10 since they have been so well received - does anyone know for sure?
