Warping in Cubase

Post by [ññP] »

Warping with markers in Live is really easy and fast...
But...in Cubase...i can't tell how to do it
I have recorded drums in different tracks in Cubase, and in some parts some of the drums have a small (but noticeable) time offset that i have to correct. I started using the "Time Warp" tool with the metronome turned on, and i managed to make the drums sound according to the metronome, but the problem is that the audio tracks weren't modifyed, instead the metronome was...
So, it created an automation on the tempo, so the metronome would fit the offset drums...but that's not at all what i want...i need it the other way round...just like ableton does.
Any help?

which cubase version are you using ?
in sx 3 you can add warp markers inside of the audio parts almost like you do in live.

you have to use the sample manipulation instead of the time warp tool.
