Hey there guys!
Trying to tap into the wonky bassline from this TEED track. Its nothing new I know but I really like it and would like to see what I can do, just not sure what to do, can anyone advise on how to create it?
Tried to do it with two saw waves and a bit of attack in sylenth but it falls well short of what Im after.

Getting That TEED Bassline?
Re: Getting That TEED Bassline?
Hello yes,
To me it sounds like FM synthesis or Subtractive synthesis. The former method will be going near the bassline in the song by having two oscillators running, both sine waves, one an octave lower than the other and modulating the high pitched one.

Re: Getting That TEED Bassline?
It's a square wave or a pulse set to a square. LP/24 filter slope pulled low down until it gets sub bass territory and then ease off a bit. The rest is in the envelopes. Possibly a small amount of sidechaining going on there and I reckon the kick is Hi Passed a fair bit as the bass sits underneath it. Just a single oscillator/sub oscillator I think.
