Seuil is back on Eklo with new sound experimentation. After using only the MPC for his last record on the label, he has decided to expand to other devices to express his feelings about modern house music. Getting into modular synthesis and using two famous modern machine drums that you will perhaps recognize... But still no computer sequences in the circuit, in an attempt to make advanced and modern house music just with hardware.

Like, are we supposed to care more because it wasn't made with a computer?
With that said, Get Up sounds quite nice...I like it.

I like both tracks. The balance between "brainyness" and club friendly oomph is pretty good. I agree with your opinions on the promo text. This "oh we are so analog"-trend is ridiculous. I dont care if it was made with a playstation or a toaster or whatever....

I'm agree with you guys about this too showed off "wannabe analog mania".
I'm a really great lover of hot and puffy analog sound and machines in general, but damn, a track has to sound well for first.
I think that let a track play bad to seems more analog as possible is quite ridicolous.
The perfect way is a pumpy track that does't lose the analog heat but sounds good in EVERY soundsystem.

Get Up is a good track... nice trip
Re: [ EKLO026] Seuil - 2 Up Modules
Maybe the analog mania showing off is not that great but one should see the difference between a producer who invests a lot of time and money into a studio to make his music sound better and others who just produce on a computer and consider themselves big artists .
