also : I find being with nature helps drastically.. simple ritual I have : sipping tea and watching the sunset when I can..
more nature based, personal, alone : individual moments shared with mother earth..

(In Live) Save As Copy - it allows you to free yourself of what you "think" you want to do and experiment with sounds without worrying about the consequences. This often leads to a much more creative workflow in my opinion. I rarely go back to my previously saved sessions. But if I have to they are there

This is how I deal with it...
Re: How do you deal with writers block?
i always tend to search for a pallette of new sounds, so i will stop producing and look for some interesting samples, have a mix and clear my head then come back and start fresh. always does the trick.

Learning the concept of chord progression would make someone never have 'writers block'. After that it becomes so much music to make, so little time.
We are the music makers,
And we are the dreamers of dreams
And we are the dreamers of dreams

really good advise.. I tend to do these as well.. I think ppl have too many options...like going in a warehouse, looking at the ceiling to the floor...and just staring at it, being overwhelmed with too many options..
sometimes forcing yourself to do different projects, using different new sounds as mentioned and specific approaches is nice. forcing your approach to only perhaps use a limited amount of channels ect.. forcing a different perspective, out of the ordinary that you may gain new perceptive to new things you didn't use before and may gain the knowledge of how you can incorporate them into future productions..
