Stisch - Sawdust Caesar (Mats Wurnell Remix)

Post by Mats »

I made this remix for the swedish based label "Sound of Habib". But since I haven't heard anything from them I decided to share the full high quality version with you. When it comes to deciding genre I guess this one ends up somewhere between minimal and electrohouse. Check it out. It has vocals from Magnus Carlson (from the band "Weeping Willows").

Let me know what you think. Thanks.

I like the vocals expept the reversed vocal that repets all the time.. it's to much in the long run... then i can feel i miss some more fillings when the full vocal comes in for the first time.. maybe some soft stabs...

the pads are nice and the percussion is laideback and its working for me.. the bassline is allso working but i would have prefered an subbas filling some lows just for the groove.. it kinda get like "ok.. now something will happen" but it dont.. just some sub lows or maybe an 808 low tom would do it..

but overall i liked it..

nice..

I love the flow in this track. A subbass wouldn`t be bad, but not nessecary in this track.

Around 4 minutes I`d like to hear the vox in delays/dubby style since it starts to `annoy` after a while...

for the rest it sounds quite okay!
