HP Probook for light audio work

Post by aallvor »

Hi.
I'm wondering if any of my fellow forumites is using an HP Probook for audio work. More specifically I'm looking at the Probook 6550b.

It would be great to hear from someone who has any experience with this or other Probook models, or any Hp for that matter.

best,
A

We use HP (business) desktops, solid, though can't say I've had too much experience using their laptops.

Here's a pretty in-depth review, which may help:

That would be more than enough to do most any audio work. Not just light audio work.

Ok, cool.

I'm also considering an Asus N53 i5 480. Any thoughts on that?

Anything that's i3, 5 or 7 based with 3GB of RAM or above should be fine.
