Looking for some good sounds...

Post by acidman »

I need some good sounds, any recommendations on refills, soundbanks, soft-synths? what i really need is some clean minimal sounds to use for samplers in reason, even some quality loops, rex files. I am buying a soft-synth,something decent but not so expensive, which one should i buy?
Thanks folks

It's a little more expensive than Absynth, but Reaktor is probably your best bet - the user library gives you access to literally hundreds of different synths, samplers and effects units, so it pretty much covers all the bases. I have the NI Komplete 2 bundle, but it is fairly rare that I reach for Absynth/FM7 over Reaktor now!

i recommend reaktor too.. you really have access to a lot of synth's and its modular
i often find presets of reaktor synth's in modern minimal productions
and lot's of synths and presets are designed by or with the help of minimal artists

for sample cd's i can recommend native instruments synthetic drums series..
generally you get very far with the software available from native instruments
just visit the website
