FORCEPT 1- AKUFEN reinterpretations of CONCEPT 1 (FR:01)
limited-edition 12” vinyl release from Montreal’s AKUFEN (Risque
Music/Traum/Force Inc.) in a three-part 12” mini-series reinterpretating Richie
Hawtin’s original CONCEPT 1 material from 1996. hot off the heels of his superb
new DJ mix CD for Fabric, this first volume will be out in late September.

Anyone heard of any signs of this getting released yet?

don't know when the next two are coming out, but when i was in montreal in february marc had already finsihed the second one (or almost finished it). it's got a lot of acid sounds in it, just as wicked as the first forcept but pretty different...i think he said it was coming out in winter or early spring 2006, then the next in the summer 2006.

don't think so..

forcept was supposed to be a concept where akufen remixed tracks from the concept series.

sickness isn't among the concept series either, and schneider isn't akufen :p

hehe

but for real, don't know, but i don't really think it is as it is supposed to be akufen remixes/reworks

Yeah, what's up with the Schneider remix of Sickness? It's been VERY long since I heard it for the first time - are we supposed to grow tired of all these m_nus releases before they are released?
