I've had the X-Session for 6 months or so. Pretty nice controller for the price.

is this to say that you would or wouldnt suggest it to someone to use for a program like Traktor?

I saw this x-session and the other maudio one called the Trigger Finger, and wasnt sure of the advantage/disadvantage of one over the other.

I use it primarily with Traktor (with FS). Having all those knobs is great for controlling the loops and filters, and is pretty much the reason I bought it.

I'd definitely recommend it if you'd be using it to controll something with a lot of parameters that store a value, not just on/off, because there are so many more knobs than buttons. If you're interested in doing something where you just turn parameters on and off, maybe the Trigger Finger'd suit you better.
