Post by lcaise »

Hello mates!

What is Your procedure to make realy deep and solid kickdrum? You use samplepacks, or some VST drummachine to make solid kick? Which vst You use?
I've MINIMAL VST and it's not this what I need.... any ideas?

PS: check MINIML VST if You like cool techno-slided hats :]

What's minimal vst? :? That just sounds daft.

Anyway, I have settled on sampling kicks from records or using Drumazon if I want 909 type kicks and Nepheton if I want 808 type kicks. There's also ADM too, Microtonic, Attack, Drumsynth. Layering samples and if you want to get really technical, taking attack portions from kicks with attack transients you like and pasting them onto the decay/tail of others.

thanx, but puremagnetiks packets are only for Ableton? I'm FL Studio user, I spend some moneys for this DAW and at the moment is no way out for other daw, like Ableton :/

lol psychich modulation! awesome!

im mostly using drumatic 3 now coupled with samples, as in i create the high freqs using samples and the thump part with drumatic and then either sampling to a new sample (that i play in battery 3) or i leave them separate and toy around with the possibilities that brings
