Why did everyone forget about Gui Boratto?

Post by sraid77 »

Quality artist, amazing album, good sound and style....and yet no one talks about him anymore, or if they do, it's like he's old news. Everyone go back and listen to Chromophobia and tell me that doesn't still sound fresh!

if i would have to agree that he has a fresh sound, i'd still argue that it feels like a logic extrapolation of what's currently happening. he's fresh but not fresh if you get my point

I still love listening to what he's done. Very inspiring and story telling, not minimal though.

I always found him overhyped. Some nice stuff, but nothing with any real lasting value, which might be the key here...
