The beta version I heard so far is way more on the busy stuttery IDM side of his productions. Kero is a friend. Anyway, there is like 3 or 4 remix vinyls of that coming around so it could be a number of mixes. The Surgeon one is a belter but I'm positive most people here on mnml.nl would shun it.
It may have changed a bit by now, but Kero's solo work is always way more experimental. He doesn't know too much about techno at all.
