jesse, i don't think you read my post entirely, there is this new (i think/hope temporary) law that allows this ATM. i read this in The Guardian so it's probably true   reason would be that the time to arrest him would give him extra time to blow himself (and everyone else) up.. it's plain simple "push the button" so with fundamentalist freaks that are completely comfortable with and prepared to die under these circumstances you better watch out, i truely understand how this happened really

i'm sure this will be the only incident, it's also important for the British government to show that they are ON the case, because otherwise like it happened for a while in Holland the people in the streets think they have to do it themselves... and that's where it goes really wrong (pitta bar/night shop/religious temples/... all under attack :s)

edit: i looked it up, it's called Operation Kratos the shoot-2-kill thingie.
anyway, in the first place i was reacting to the first (american) post. if now also europe goes nuts it's THEIR fucking fault so i thought of that post as very not done

Oh! Ok, interesting. I guess it's one of those 'war time' law things.

Maybe the dude just had some weed and didn't wanna get busted so he ran.

they presume his work visa was outdated in fact.

if he had stopped, best case scenario: body search, nothing found, cool.
worst case scenario: take him to the office, screen him and find out about his working visa and maybe put him out of the country. but he'd still be alive that's for sure.

Word word word!

Life is full of risks if we are free or not...and I think I'd rather be in a risky world of freedom.

This dude's the actual bum. Bush is just his floppy little puppet.

But this thread's not about America's leaders ;)
