Direwires & Freder - "Sleeping Near Highways"

A Direwires and Freder collaborative album inspired by the experience of
pulling over and sleeping during a long, tiring journey on Canada's

consciousness to sleep and back again and are ordered accordingly.

Tracklist

2. Glowing Through Eyelids
3. Imaginary Romance (for an interrupted dream)
4. Close the door, drive
5. 7
6. As a group
7. Loyalists (west east shores)

*Special note: Direwires will be debuting selections from this release
during his live performance at Mutek 2005. (Friday June 3 - see mutek.ca for
details)

Artist name: Direwires
Location: Ontario, CA
Bio: Direwires is the moniker assumed by Adam Young (of the minimal techno
duo "Tractile") during his personal journey into the ambient and
experimental. Direwires is Adam's purest outlet of emotional self-expression
and musical exploration through which he creates a score to his life as if a
film - highly influenced by the work of Koji Kondo, as well as minimal
ambient and modern sound artists.
