I have a request - if I remember correctly, the first sample pack was a large .zip file with .mp3 files of individul samples. Is it possible to keep the individual samples .wav files this time? Or will the .zip file be too large that way?

if we go with wav, the problem is it will be larger and you will have less choices.

So its quality vs quantities..

Thanks to those who msg me, I'm going to post here instead of PM everyone!

Basically, the concept behind Archipel is to make banks of sounds from any producer. I give myself the right to make final processing on the samples

The idea here is to really make your own sounds:

- No "copyrighted" samples: as kicks and percussion who comes from other CD sampler. If you do that, try to process them to make them sound different.
- No presets from synths, vsti patches of recognizable sounds from know softwares (ex. Reaktor).
- It can be loops, melodies, field recordings and yes Isa, voice

- For samplepack 1, we use mp3 format so we could offer a bigger variety of choices. Not sure what we'll do at the moment.
- For future releases on Archipel, we use a CC derivate licence on your samples so they get released with certain legal aspect (I can give you details if needed) and if they're used on another label, we ask people to credit you.

Anyway, some people already gave me stuff (like Plaster), we need more and we'd be happy for people to contribute

i'm stoked to get volume two up and running,cos volume one was heavily used.
