ANALORD

I like 2 tracks on each - #1, #3 and #4 (midievil rave 1 & home made ploysynth are best for me)

crazy dope dark electro loops - like a moody robot, breaking it down

not very compatible and a bit fast but very interesting

for me the pissed up in SE1 on the analord 2 is damn amazing.
it's nothing groundbreaking, nor is it worth a hype (nothing's worth a hype).
it's just plain, beautiful, emotional music which I bought just to listen to, because I don't mix at 120bpm :)
the vocoder use on that track is good: somewhat harsh and clumsy, but it's friggin' analogue...
love it or hate.

Kind of like the Fall releasing loads upon loads of compilations. But who really cares, it's still Mark E. Smith and it's still the Fall. Just like it's still Richard D. James and it's still Aphex Twin. Bands and artists do it when they've had the spotlight on them for a while. It just happens. Maybe he wanted to make a profit, maybe he wanted to try a little something different. Who knows. Artists should not have to cater to their fans.

As for the Analord series being shitty, I would not go as far as to say that. That is a bit harsh methinks. If you don't like it, that's alright. It's just frivolous to go around calling something sh!t.
