The Danish Duo, Hansen & DJ Daniel have been at it together for almost ten years. Since 1995 they have made their mark on an ever more interesting Danish house/techno-scene with a distinct, danceable minimalistic sound ranging between the quirky rawness and the mellow smoothness.
As 'Huebsch Originators' they released memorable EPs on Multiplex and Mosaic and a ditto album on April Records. They have in their current incarnation already won world wide acclaim with sublime releases on Special Ed, Mosaic, Trapez and latest Tic Tac Toe Records.
Lately they have been working with vocalist and singer Jakob Kosteljanetz, who has taken a well-deserved break from his own band, Geisha, to work with the lads. Also being a part of their live act, Jakob adds that little extra something to the hypnotic, electronic grooves of Hansen & DJ Daniel, making the live experience just perfect.
DJ Daniel is an institution in Danish house and techno. As host on the largest weekly house/techno show on national Danish radio, DSM, as a DJ in venues all over Denmark and Northern Europe, and as the man behind multiple small as well as large scale events, he is a huge contributor to the Danish scene and one of the main reasons why, the scene has kept expanding and growing into something more creative and lively now than ever. By himself, Daniel has also released on Echocord and another Copenhagen newcomer 3rd Floor Records.
Hansen, the technical mastermind has been producing since god knows when, and doesn’t limit himself to the boundaries of electronic dance music. Hansen has released rock, pop, ambient and experimental records, and is also quite a name on the industrial scene, where he produces under his 'Unveiled' moniker, releasing on labels such as World Serpent.

Same opinion and situation here, my fav of the trio is "Hansen & DJ Daniel Feat Jakob Kosteljanetz – Only Love – Trapez Ltd "spalalaps wrote:the trapez releases are excellent
my humble opinion is that the tic tac toe ep was a bit of a repetition of only love
as for the early works of the danish duo, i havent had the chance to listen to them yet
The one on Tic Tac Toe sounds a little bit alike.

But that's pretty obvoius isn't it? As it's the same vocalist? And they have their style... Well, check out the new release, it should be a bit different...isabella wrote:Same opinion and situation here, my fav of the trio is "Hansen & DJ Daniel Feat Jakob Kosteljanetz – Only Love – Trapez Ltd "spalalaps wrote:the trapez releases are excellent
