Someone Else - aka the pooper

Post by jamespatrick »

So this guy just left my place last week.

We played a few midwest gigs, including First Avenue on saturday night.

(first ave - Prince's club as seen in "Purple Rain")

He rules. His new stuff is solid.

super nice fella with a knack for poop and things like that.

just had to give him some props.

check out (as if you probably haven't already)

-the DJ mix on unfoundsound is the hype stuff! check the unreleased Fusiphorm track and say goodbye to your day job.

"Rip it Cookie Muenster" will always be a classic track in my opinion. Don't know much else from the guy, but that tune rocks!

I love that blue record he did that had the Matthew Dear mix on it. I don't remember what it was called but I know it was the first release on whatever label it was.

His track on that Remains comp. ep was great too. I know he also has some stuff on Tuning Spork.

that was his first FOUNDsound release. Love it, too!

Check his "PLOOSH" ep for more experimental sounds, and the Musik Krause is always a show stopper.

-and by stopper, I mean freak out.

yeah, that's right. I forgot this is the same guy behind the spacey rock/electronic band Flowchart! I've only got one Someone Else release (Ploosh!), but hot damn is it a good one. Never seen anything else, but that's maybe because I'm out here on the west coast. Sometimes the distro circuit misses us :(

Found/unfoundsound seems like a solid project. http://www.unfoundsoundrecords.com/
