Wang Inc. - Meditations for a better world live
Taken from the first 12” on Persistence Bit records by the Italian
artist Wang Inc.
The concept of this exploration of Wang Inc. is simple: “the best meditation is the one you make in the middle of entropy”.
“This are hard years for humanity.- says Wang Inc.- Terror, war on terror, enduring freedom, pollution, economic harassment and the sea will be dead in 40 years.”
Meditations for a better world live wants to be a response for this problems. In this live performance Wang Inc. has also added some retro sounds using a first generation game boy and some open source sounds using a Linux based operating system to control one of his laptops.
For sure pure techno style this live will bring you in another dimension tickling your brain and moving your feet with lots of tinkling sounds.

Wang Inc. appeared on the music market with his first 12” on Sonig called Plastic/Metal. It was year 1999 and this 12” is part of the music revolution that Matmos and Dr. Rockit made to dance music introducing “concrete” sounds to the beats. After this Wang Inc. has made 2 albums: the first on Bip-Hop and the second on Context. Working with Context has brought him back to his first love: dance music with lots of experiments. His last work will come out december 2006 on Persistence Bit records. Now behind his techno productions Wang Inc. plays in the rock band Ende and collaborates with many artists around the world doing improvised music. He also works for multimedia projects making interactive soundscapes and music for audio visual products (short films, commercials and so on).
