fck. :(

I'm in love.

I just went out to get a latté... and the new girl at my beloved Café Coyote looked and smiled at me...

She

is

so

gorgeous.

If she's into minimal things... does not matter.

What I know is that I want to die.

from my experience, you dont have to have the same taste exactly, but whats important is support for each others passions and interests. My wife is a singer and I'm a producer, and we've worked together, though we have slightly different tastes in music.

But she respects techno and likes the occasional track i play to her. doesnt like all of it, but respects it enough to see why i like it. And vice versa. I dont like all the stuff she likes, but i can understand why she does.

What it comes down to is a common respect and understanding for each other's tastes. There needs to be agreement on some level, but as long as you can respect the differences at the same time, you're absolutely fine. especially with things like music and movies.

Well call it an egotrip, or whatever, but when a girl i like is really into the music i create, man, it's just such a rush. Happened to me yesterday at a party... seeing her having such a blast dancing on my stuff, and telling me how she was just tripping on it... fck that was sweeeeet!

Not that it's essential, but when it's such a part of your life... what I create, it's who I am. So if a girl doesn't like it, it's like she reject a huge part of myself.

*sorry if the post makes not much sense, i'm still drunk 8)

Well, as long as she doesn't ask for the "Best of Emo" compilation while we shag...

Mind you, I couldn't put my own music either... i'd always be like "mmm.... maybe the bassline should be a little louder here..." instead of keeping my mind on the deed.
