I HAVE A TOSHIBA TECRA AND AN M-AUDIO FAST TRACK PRO, I USE ABLETON TO PRESENT MY WORKS ON LIVE SETS.
MY PROBLEM IS THAT IF I USE THE NOTEBOOK CONECTED TO POWER THE SOUND CARD CRASHES WITH ANY VARIATION ON THE VOLTAJE OF THE CLUB, THE SOUNDS STOP AND I HAVE TO REBOOT...
WHAT IM DOING NOW IS PLAYING WITH BATTERIES..SO I DONT HAVE THAT PROBLEM, BUT WITH BATTERIES I ONLY CAN PLAY FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS. AND I WANT TO PLAY MORE TIME...
ANYONE KNOWS IF THIS IS COMMMON?? AND, ANYONE KNOW ABOUT A SOLUTION?? I THOUGHT ABOUT BUYING AN UPS BUT I DONT KNOW IF IT IS THE SOLUTION...
THANKS IN ADVANCE...

Are you always playing in the same club? Or have all the clubs in Uruguay got this problem?

I guess you need some kind of voltage regulator - is that what a UPS is?

ups is an uninterruptible power supply.
and yes, it will solve your problems.

...or fix your laptop.
It seems that u also have caps lock broken or something
Image we are all atomic and subatomic particles and we are all wireless...

i had the same problem with an m-audio soundcard.
when it crashes you don't have to reboot,
-options
-select internal soundcard
-confirm
-select your usb soundcard again
-confirm
-play

by my side i have solved the problem buying a rme card with independent power supply.
