I've tried it and it's good.

And I agree with clees.

Don't believe the hype too much, even my numark axis 2 (very very basic) does a great job so....

shoulda said yes to those DNS-1200 + the Technics 1210 with the brand new ortofon concord + the Gemini 4 channel USB mixer + the Sony amp for £800 ono... :shock:
can't believe we let that one go mate! coulda sold the deck alone for £300!!!

most cd players are more than fine for mixing, just make sure you get one with .02% pitch resolution... to my knowledge the cdj800 is the only pioneer model that does not support this

I own a 800 and a 400.

The 400 is cool but... I prefer the feeling/touch on the 800. In my opinion, you should decide between a 200 if you wanna save some money or a 800 for better quality.

yeah I like the 800s as well as the 1000s...the cd platter works great and i love the looping features.

the 400 is ok like john said for the price. if you are buying a 400, you aren't in the market for anything more expensive.

stantons, technics and denons are crap..i haven't played on a numark so i cannot comment. the other 3 seem cheap and break easily

pioneer is going to be the best for your money...and it's good b/c they have different price ranges
