I hadnt thought about problems with the pressing plants. If what youre saying is true, then its probably the reason to most of the delays.

Maybe it would be nice to put records up for presale/forthcoming once you receive the records from the plant, or at least know they've been pressed. So many records stay on presales for months, slowly climbing the charts, etc... it's ridiculous and annoying.

if you like it preorder it... after that you don't have to care about this anymore.. who cares if it comes in this week's package or with the next one two weeks later.. ?

if you're the labelboss then i understand if you check the charts.. but as a consumer.. why would i care on which position in the charts a record is?

First they said 20/05/13 now its 30/06. I read that 20/05 in various sites in the web. The same has happened with PG#1, Jovonn Ian Pooley Repress, Glassdance, etc. They say a release date and then they keep changing them.

Juno have split the middle, they says it will be out on 15/06

ez all - regarding delays I can confirm that it's problems at the pressing plants. In January a pressing plant in Italy closed down and all work that was going through there was shifted to other plants.. our pressing plant Optimal used to have 2 week lead times on tp-final pressing but now it's more like 5-6 weeks.

It's really screwed our release schedule up
