Loco Dice has some cool productions and his livesets are always great.
It's a shame he didn't turn up at the last edition of Static though :(

You know that episode of the Simpsons where Frank Grimes goes crazy because he's the only person at the nuclear plant the notices that Homer is an idiot...

Am I the only person that thinks this stuff is PROGRESSIVE!!

well there are many progressive stuffs with marked as "minimal" these days(althought I'm not interested in names and styles, cause good music is good music)

honestly...his m_nus release is quite a bit different from the rest of the stuff on the label and I wouldn't expect that audience to pick up on it. That release in my opinion is more for the people who appreciate some housey Detroit influence instead of the usual click-fest one can expect from a m_nus release. It doesn't hurt that Seeing Through the Shadows is one of the catchiest tunes to come out on m_nus in well...ever. The title track is big because it has an identity and is recognizable more so than a lot of the m_nus catalog. The B side...well it's not for me. Loco Dice has about a 50% success rate of getting into my record bag, but the tracks I do buy I'm really fucking into.
