Baby Ford and Zip need little introduction and debut on Trelik as "BFZ" featuring co-conspiritor Thomas Melchior. The trio originally appeared on the 1999 "Perlondon" 12" for Perlon with Ford and Zip re-uniting for the "Glidin' Along The Riverbed" release then 2010's "Clean Hands" on PAL SL. Thomas Melchior recently appearing on

this release reflects again the direction of zip and baby ford imho. Zips latest Remix from Portable is very emotional, clean and tidy sounding. same here, very clean, tidy, minimalisting building of a beat. its maybe a result of a nice and long jam session. Of course you can say they didnt worked to much on the machines, its more the vibe behind the tracks. This release wasnt made to be the next hit.

Compared to the older releases the rawness and functionality is missing a little bit, this one is more in an intelligent way.

The colobaration with Zip is one of Baby Fords interesting projects.

To say this release could be played on a certain setting is a unfair statement. This release will work when the situation is present and permits for it, in the club or at home either.

Clean Hands is a underrated great deep record, too.
