Did you check the http://www.elektron-users.com forum?
There's always a few monoMachines to sell in their Buy/Sell/trade section, and they're most of the time very reasonably priced. I'd recommend keeping an eye on there if you haven't already.

Indeed, I received MnM last month via EU forums. I didn't have any cash, but I gave the guy more value in gear than what he was asking (I was just too lazy to try n sell it all) so it worked out for both of us. Most folks on there are reasonable like that.

Can anyone who has one post up some monomachine only examples of tech square and sin sub bass?

I hear a lot of high end arps and raspy/percussive FM stuff being demoed, but there doesn't seem to be much int he way of decent bass demos out there.

Cheers,

I need to read up on this unit a lot more I think, I just read you can't make chords on it and each 'machine' is monophonic. Would that mean you'd have to copy a setting/patch from track 1 to track 2 and transpose it to the required interval ( and repeat until chord is achieved via monophonic lines on different tracks? )

I'm confused over that now.

Each track is monophonic, yes, it is a MONOmachine after all. However, there are these so called Ensemble Machines, which allow you to create chords. They're basically simple synths with 4 oscillators tuned to make chords.

My favorite machines in the whole synth actually.

You can check out my tracks at Soundcloud. Especially the Monodub series, it's created entirely with the Monomachine. The kick is pretty crappy though, just ignore it. There's probably too much bass there actually, so they might be best enjoyed with headphones, as they were created with them too, I didn't have my monitors hooked up at the time.

No mate, that fell through when he only wanted to use Paypal, then I had second thoughts. I don't know what I want now, I'd like the Spectralis 2 but, in no rush.
