I'm not sure when the due date is, but it's not far off.
Yep, it will be. I'm excited to see how that is. 5.2's insanely fast on my Macbook.

Supposed to be out Q3 2006.

My room mate works for apple. They have been testing logic on these recently and wow. He says it's a work horse, but some modifications may happen in the future that are well worth waiting for. I think they may change the ram they come standard with as well (same price though). To me 512 is no longer standard. They may be increasing the data bus speed as well. It is 667 now but it should go up. I have also heard that they were running hot, but that has been fixed and there was a small hiss coming from some of them, but this is also no longer. I use logic on a dual g4 without any problems, but once the live 6.0 hits I'm getting one.

AFAIK live 5.2 is already full dual core compatible, and the announced release date of live 6 is around june/july

I was surprised how well live 5.2 worked on my macbook... it was faster and more stable (in terms of the constancy of cpu usage) than my imac g5... Thats the only software I've really run on it so far.
