processor problems!!!!

hey!!!!
got a question for u all....
if anybody would be kind to help me
just got too my new studio... started working and got another problem to solve.....
well here is the deal..... i use a pc... intel processor 2.6 gb... asus p4p800s mother board...........1 gb RAM............ work in nuendo steinberg...
the problem is mainly with the procesor.. because of the amount of vsts i use....
any suggestions for a good dsp card such as uad or other... or i can solve it other way?

although many people say that uad has better plugins... more usefull plugins....

i'd say so, too then again it's much a matter of taste.

can you define your cpu problem any further? there are still many other ways of preserving cpu power like using alternate plugins, bouncing etc...

well the problem goes even further... sometimes even crashes the programm.. (nuendo)... and the cpu works from 65-80%...
and i usually use blue tubes bundle... and another nomad factory mastering plugins....

what are other ways?

i dont think that tweak xp would help that situation...
