tl;dr : some friend of lady gaga met surgeon, both then decided to make a live session as a warm-up before a lady gaga concert.

agreed!
Most certainly is a good thing in the sense that one can be recognized for authentic music and be used to education the masses vs. the route of sell outs playing corny EDM for the sake of getting gigs.
I think there's only really two ways. To try to be more commercial to play to bigger crowds or in this case be completely authentic and expose the masses the real stuff for the right reasons. Open minds can be exposed to specific frequencies in an open platform to such a large amount of people all at once. Helps speed up the learning curve im sure.
