The new trend, one track/side, suxx big time. Too many doubles these days. Back in the day when a vinyl had a normal price (7-8 eur) wasn't a problem but now... huh

with a 2x12 you have a lower price per copy and therefore a higher revenue in the end.

but that's not the reason. it's because those guys care so much about music they found it necessary that each track spreads over a whole side.

Of course, the tracks are louder, better for playing out, etc...but is that what the fans actually want?
