here are some reviews incase you're interested:

Dj Mag (issue 30Sept - 13Oct):

CONFUTATIS - BUILT IN ANGER
Most Techno albums aren't named after Mozart's darkest work, his 'Requiem', but then again, most techno producers aren't as painstakingly inventive as Bernhard Pucher. Betterknown for his sparce dancefloor material as Brian Aneurysm for Iron Box, Traum and Poker Flat, Pucher epxlores hip hop, industrial and even late-night jazz on 'Anger'. Crunchy, glitchy beats underpin the melancholy sax on 'faith' and the gentle melodies on the mellow techno fo 'my statement' have a Warp feeling, but this is the polar opposite to an easy listening album. The title track is an austere ebm-influenced electro workout and the intense industrial jacking patterns of 'victimise' and 'obsession' leave you in no doubth that this is a work for angry young men and women. (Richard Brophy)

Rock Bottom Video Magazine:

CONFUTATIS - BUILT IN ANGER
When most people get angry they lash out in a largely less than constructive manner, breaking things in their path and generally doing stuff that they’ll no doubt regret the next day and possibly have to explain their way out of or pay for somehow. Bernard Pucher on the other hand sits down and writes 10 tracks of well crafted and soulful electronic music fusing live sax and guitar with sparse drums and subtle studio trickery. So good you’ll want to smash his face in.

CONFUTATIS - BUILT IN ANGER
Perheps one of the finest albums in the Ai records stable, this time by long standing producer Bernhard Purcher under his Confutatis alter ego. After involvement in labels like Pokerflat, Traum, Spectral, Onitor, Substatic etc., Bernhard gives us an album of electronic nuances, melodic chords, lofi atmospherics, glitchdance, crunchy hip hop beats and distorted vocals for a fine journey along the outer edged of the night time world...

Gridface:

CONFUTATIS - BUILT IN ANGER
Bernhard Pucher’s second release for Ai combines a lot of unusual sounds. On “Faith,” whale-like saxophone swirls over staticky beats. “Just Ask” is more downtempo, with samples of a man saying “microphone” and “direct” over melancholy electronics and hip-hop beats. It’s hypnotic. “My Statement” has more of a house feel with slow piano and top-heavy percussion, while “Atmos-Fear” sounds like something off Spectral Sound with a brutal old-school bassline, reverbed bleeps, and a techno beat. There are only a couple of misses. The saxophone and distorted vocals on “To Die and Be” are both pretty cheesy. The chant-like rap on “Victimize” is merely distracting. But on “Obsession,” the distorted voices mesh well with deep, dark techno.

The tracks on this album fit together like pieces of a puzzle. Despite a wide range of tempos and sounds, there is a bigger picture: emotions bubbling to the surface from a club-music background. While it may have been built in anger, it’s a fun listen.

They've got this up on Juno already. Just bought my copy today!

The only negative thing I can say about this is that I wish "Just Ask" was also on the vinyl version cuz that could be my favorite judging by the samples...maybe I just need to get myself a cd deck. May have to be my Christmas present to myself.
